THOUGHTS ON FOUNDING
"I founded a passion fruit farm in Itoman, Okinawa while I was still a university student. Through working side by side with local farmers—our Oji and Oba (grandpas and grandmas)—I realized how nutritionally rich Okinawan crops are. I want the world to recognize the value of these underappreciated agricultural products. The superfoods that have supported Okinawa’s longevity can surely contribute to improving fitness—not only in Okinawa and Japan, but across the world. With that belief, I launched a co-creation food tech business focused on agriculture × sports. Moving forward, we will continue developing products in collaboration with the local community, with an eye toward global expansion."
Began traditional karate at age of 5, winning an Okinawa tournament. After graduating from the University of the Ryukyus, worked in corporate sales at a major dairy products trading company, and then supported the business expansion of a Japanese health food company at a Taiwanese advertising agency. Launched the current business in 2023.
