BUSINESS SUMMARY

We apply the water sterilization technologies cultivated through public water supply projects to create water treatment systems for private-sector use. Our business includes the design, manufacturing, and sales of equipment for sanitation systems and aquaculture facilities. In addition, we are conducting joint research with Ryukyu University on water recycling technologies and are actively working on the development of new products.

THOUGHTS ON FOUNDING

"For almost 20 years, I worked in Kobe developing water sterilization equipment for public use, mainly for water treatment plants across Japan. Over time, however, the market became saturated. While existing products were refined and improved, there was little demand for creating entirely new ones. It was around this time that I met professors from the University of the Ryukyus and began joint research on water recycling technologies. I have always loved drawing blueprints and assembling machines, but through my conversations with the professors I was introduced to fresh perspectives and new ideas. Inspired by this, I decided to bring those ideas to life and founded Raffinnete Inc. in 2021. Today, our work focuses on two main areas: developing systems that capture, purify, and reuse moisture from the air, and designing facilities for land-based aquaculture."
