BUSINESS SUMMARY

RyuWell Co., Ltd. was founded in August 2024 by professors from the University of the Ryukyus School of Medicine and an AI technology experts. We provide online and AI-based dementia diagnosis solutions to address medical access challenges, such as the shortage of specialists, and contribute to the early detection of dementia in local communities. Our goal is to solve regional healthcare issues and expand our solutions nationwide and globally.

THOUGHTS ON FOUNDING

Since 2019, we have been collaborating with the University of the Ryukyus, academia, and businesses nationwide to address healthcare challenges in Okinawa. To support dementia care and preventive healthcare, we launched multiple projects in 2024, working with medical and technology experts, and began pilot testing in Yomitan Village. To accelerate social implementation, we founded our company in August 2024. In December, we were recognized as a university-affiliated venture, and in January 2025, we received the Excellence Award in a regional problem-solving contest by the Cabinet Office.
