BUSINESS SUMMARY

We operate an alternative school and after-school program for elementary and middle school students, providing a place where children can engage with multiculturalism, arts, and sciences, and learn to appreciate themselves as they are. Prioritizing the principle of "leaving no one behind" former international students from the University of the Ryukyus use English to provide high-quality STEAM education. We also support foreigners with Japanese language learning, employment, and entrepreneurship, fostering regular interactions between foreigners and local residents.

THOUGHTS ON FOUNDING

I grew up sandwiched between an excellent older sister and a promising older brother, and as a result, I felt like the "unnecessary child" and was a truant. In middle school, I met a warm yet strict English teacher who inspired me to dream of teaching languages. After graduating from graduate school, I worked for a total of seven years as a Japanese language teacher at universities in Romania, Latvia, and France. While living in Eastern Europe, I was worn down by the cold, poverty, and loneliness, and was nearly an alcoholic. However, thanks to my students, I managed to survive. Without their help, I wouldn't be who I am today. So, I want to help foreigners who are at a loss in Okinawa. With the hope that a positive chemical reaction would occur between Afghan students who fled for their lives due to the Taliban's takeover and truant children, I established a school.
