BUSINESS SUMMARY

We develop digital tools to assist in a series of processes: identifying high-risk dialysis patients at the regional level, integrating patient information, and providing customized treatment plans based on unique treatment strategies. These tools will be utilized to support projects aimed at preventing the progression of chronic kidney disease. Additionally, by implementing the system in regional core hospitals, we aim to achieve significant reductions in both the need for dialysis and healthcare costs.

THOUGHTS ON FOUNDING

I was astonished to learn that in Nanjo City, there are quite a few patients who avoid dialysis due to receiving accurate treatment. Through my ongoing research and practice in personalized treatment for chronic kidney disease, I have come to realize that it is possible to suppress the deterioration of kidney function in many patients. Consequently, I recognized the importance of creating a system that delivers personalized treatment without overburdening patients or their primary care physicians. This insight led me to establish the "Nanjo City Chronic Kidney Disease Progression Prevention Project." As a result, we were able to achieve a reduction in the number of new dialysis patients and a significant decrease in medical costs. Many municipalities expressed a desire to implement this program, leading me to participate in the "STARTUP BOOTCAMP" and subsequently found my own company. Through our business activities, I aim to ensure that individual happiness is not hindered by illness and to work towards a sustainable society.
