BUSINESS SUMMARY
Our company was founded on March 31, 2023. Based on the accumulated research findings, particularly in the area of ultrasound diagnostic support AI for cardiology, we are developing new medical AI technologies. We aim to implement these technologies in ultrasound diagnostic devices and handle their manufacture and sale, making ultrasound examinations accessible and easy for everyone.
THOUGHTS ON FOUNDING
During my research in the area of echocardiography, which evaluates the morphology and function of the heart, I identified a significant issue: the quality of the examination heavily depends on the skill of the examiner. I have been working towards resolving this by developing solutions that reduce the skill gap. Since 2018, I have been involved in medical AI research, and I decided to start my own company to deliver the cardiac echo AI that I developed to various locations in Japan and around the world.
Faculty of Medicine, University of the Ryukyus, Professor. Graduated from the School of Medicine at Tsukuba University in 2004 and completed my doctoral course at Tokushima University in 2009. While focusing on medical research, particularly echocardiography, I decided to start a business to commercialize my research.
